Uploading Customer payment to MS Dyn F&O using Customer Payment Journal data entity

Hello,

           We are using the Data management import process using "Customer Payment journal" entity to upload customer payments done outside of MS Dyn 365.  It was working fine until last month and it is giving the following error during import process.  I have checked the staging table to make sure the Journal Number does not exists.  I also tried uploading with a very big journal number which is also giving same error.

    Hi ,

    Error is Clear, it says " File Contains duplicate rows, cannot insert data into staging due to unique key violation."
    just check the duplicate lines in the import sheet specially  Invoice Number, Payment Reference, and Description Fileds.
    also, Delete all the Rows after your Rows with values and columns after your data columns even those are empty. then try to upload again.

    You can try creating new excel file and try copy paste data as "Paste by value".

    Also try that you are not entering same line number or voucher for the lines by mistake.

    Hi,

    Try cleaning the data on the staging before trying to import the file again and is mentioned before by the others, you need to check you don't have any duplicates, easier to do it by checking the log on the import.

    Hi,

    Can you try uploading only one record and check if it is imported without any error.

    It clearly states as 'unique key' violation. Check the keys and see if the values for the unique keys are correct.

    Hello All,

                Thanks for all your inputs.   I tired creating the Customer payment journal header manually and tried uploading only the customer payment journal line which should not have any unique key violation.

    I also ran Job History Clean up.  Now I am getting a different error "  Package execution failed please check event log in DMF service box-
    '0' 'Customer payment journal line' record(s) inserted in staging".   Attached screen shots.

    Hello,

    On the last screen you attached you have an option on the menu that says infolog, click there and share the info.

    Also on the same screen you have the option to go to the staging table, click there and let us know if you have something there.
