In D365, if speaker engagement is created by event owner, speaker will have a default invite in his or her calendar with message below. Can we stop this invite? We are using Power Automate instead to generate Outlook invites to speakers as we need to customize the invite message.
Hi Nya,
I find an alternative solution. If I don't set email in Speaker record, Teams won't be able to send the default invite. And I can get the owner record related to the speaker engagement and use Power Automate to send invite to owner's email instead of speaker's email. The only thing I need to make sure is both speaker and owner are the same person. As I also need to limit the view of each user to only have speaker engagements assigned to him or her, I will always have to ensure speaker and owner are the same person.
Hi,
It is a feature of Teams, which can be customized by referring to the following section:
Customize your meeting invitations
But I cannot find a solution to disable it.
Please try to post your issue to the forum of Teams for further help.
