Sales Order Manually entered sales tax on order does not transfer to invoice

We are importing Sales Orders from our online orders portal where sales tax has already been calculated and is included in the imported order.  When an order is transferred to an invoice the tax is normally transferred to the to the invoice.  However, if the order includes one or more kit items in the order lines the tax is not transferred and the invoice has zero tax.  Is there any way to override this behavior and cause the tax to be transferred?

Thanks for any help

    Hi Warren,

You mentioned that the issue is occurring on your imported Sales Orders, does the same issue occur if you manually key in the sales order? If not you can compare the manually entered order to the integrated one and see if there are any variances in the lines, that might help to determine if there is something missing in the integration.
