Does your NAV 2009 is a native db or linked to SQL server.  If it is SQL then as mentioned below it will be better to do a backup and restore on a test db.  However, if it is a native db then you can used the fbk backup available on nav

    Hi,

You can backup through SQL which is faster more than finsql and restore it.

You can take a backup from the NAV itself and restore, since you are using the NAV 2009 version.

    Hi,

You may use the set up checklist.

Go to administration module then application setup -- > General --> setup checklist.
