Dynamics 365 Online : How emails can be sent to separate email ids from CRM?

Hello,

I am working on Email configuration of Dynamics 365 Online.

Now the scenario is  - 

1. In Office 365, two users are created and licenses are assigned as below - 

  • User 1 - user1@abc.com  (Licenses - Office 365, Dynamics 365)
  • User 2 - user2@xyz.com  (Licenses - Office 365)

2. In CRM : I have created Exchange Server Profile and set up the user Mailbox for user1@abc.com. 

3. There are two business units - BU1 and BU2

Requirement is - 

1. User2 doesn't need to be a CRM user. 

2. Emails which are being sent from BU1 should be received by user1@abc.com.

3. Emails which are being sent from BU2 should be received by user2@xyz.com.

Is there anyway I can achieve this? Any workaround? 

Please suggest, any help on this would be appreciated.

    Well, as you said, you don't want the second email to be a user in CRM so it could be any record to which you can send an email. It could be a contact, an account, a lead or you can create a custom entity, enable it to send emails and CRM will create an email field for you. But using an out of the box entity is a good choice.

    @Vikas - Thank you very much for your quick response.

    Do you mean to say that from CRM whenever we want to send emails to User2@xyz.com, we need to select Contact instead of User. Right?

    Please correct me if I am wrong.

    Do you want to send email from within the CRM to these two emails? If yes, then you can create a contact with second email and add it to the emails.
