Hi Team,

I am trying to create a unified customer profile of a customer which is a Contact and an Account customer coming from a CDS data source. when I do a match where do I map the name of the Account to Type?

For Account, I mapped it to "Organization.Name"

and for Person, I mapped to "Person.Name"

But when I go to the Customer tab, I dont see the Name.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

What is your primary entity here? I suppose it is an account.

In your business scenario, Account and Contacts are both customers? Or in other words, do you need to show both accounts and contacts as customers?

Let me put this in perspective:

Normally accounts are organizations and contacts are individuals., which means you will have 2 entities in CI:

    • Accounts
    • Contacts

Now you need to relate Contacts with Accounts (1:N).

That said, Accounts will show up as customers (main), and then contact will show up as related data contacts.

Now, what do you want to achieve here, please clarify.
