Hi,
I have a field named x and I have a table/view named y. Once the user input a value in the filed x I want it to
be automatically included in the table/view y. Any idea how to do that?

it's not something you can do "per record" - grids are relying on the views and layouts, so, if you update the view or if you update the layout, that change will apply to every place where you are showing that grid (and you'll need to publish the changes, yet the users will need to refresh their screen). Here is a link FYI, though, again, it will provide sample code for what I wrote above, but not for what you were (it seems) trying to do:
