Migrating existing workers to Talent from D365FO HR

HI,

We have already implemented D365FO with HR but now our customer wants to use Talent. The CDS integration between D365FO and Talent is one way i.e. from Talent to D365FO. My concern is whether the existing workers in D365FO can be migrated to Talent or if we create same name workers in Talent manually then after running integration will it create duplicate workers? We have more than 5000 workers in D365FO and creating them in Talent then having duplicates in D365FO will not be helpful as for every worker there is a high volume of timesheet and absence transactions.

Kindly suggest.

There is a data integrator template that will sync from Finance and Operations to the Common Data Service (CDS). Or you can use the data management framework (DMF) entities in Finance and Operations to export the workers, then import them into Talent. The main thing to keep in mind is to have the same personnel numbers for workers in both systems, this will ensure you don't get duplicate records when you integrate from Talent to Finance and Operations.
