Hi All,
i am restoring DB from on premises UAT to one box vhd to upgrade the DB, but each time i restore i run a query and retrieve the old demo DB data, why are demo data retreived from the query after i restore the UAT DB ?

Which process you are following and which query you are running ? Can you confirm you renamed old db to something else ?
Hi Mohammad,
there are some scripts to run when to export and import a database between environments. Please refer to this documentation and follow the steps documented there.

you can skip the Azure sql export / import process and use the normal backup / restore procedure from sql, since it may not be applicable for your on-premise scernario.
