I guys i have a problem with opportunity role security.
as said in the subject an owner of a account have access to unowned opportunity.
the read privilege on opportunity is set on User.
but a user have still access to a unowned opportunity if he own the related account.
the relationship between opportunity and account have been set to cascade none for all parametter.
do you have a idea ?

Check the System Settings: General:: Share Reassigned Records with original owner Yes 0 No 0
It is obvious that there is a functionality added that share the re-assigned records with the original owner.
Before you remove it, follow up with the concerned stakeholders (business people) of the project and make sure that this functionality needs to be removed or not (plugin or workflow with custom activity).

Most of the time, these issues are related to cascading permissions from the team. Check if the team this user belongs to have access to these opportunities. If not team then as suggested above, this could be a sharing which you can check on a records basis by clicking Share on the menu.

also, there's a setting somewhere for re-assigned records automatically shared with original owner (though it seems odd that he would create an opportunity that was to be taken away from him.)

Make sure that the opportunities are not shared with this user and that the user is not included in another team that is associated to security roles
