Using Printerselection

We want to use link a certain report to a user and a certain printer. We need this function to direct a certain print to a certain printer. In Microsoft Dynamics NAV, we could achieve this with the function printer selection. In Microsoft Dynamics Business Central we cannot add a printer in the page Printer Selection.

Example of the function in NAV:

in the column we have the possibility to choose a certain printer which is installed on the computer.

When we look at this function in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, then we see that we do not have the possibility to choose a printer

Even when we choose for the option select from complete list, then we cannot add a printer. This screen is empty and we do not have the button new

This is actually an unsupported feature. You cannot set up specific printers for specific reports.
