GP TB to excel

Posted on by 235

Hi,

I have a customer running GP10.  They want to send Trial Balance to excel. I do not see a way to do this. They do have the smart list builder. They would like to send it to excel with totals for home office in europe.

Thanks

Dexter Southerland

I agree with Leslie, I even have a blog post with the steps to do this in FRx: victoriayudin.com/.../dynamics-gp-trial-balance-in-excel-using-frx.

    Hi Dexter,

I think FRx is a really easy way to produce an exportable report that you can open in Excel. Something else I have done for years (read pre-FRx) is to change one of the standard trial balance reports, like the 'Worksheet' into an Excel friendly report. You would need to open it in Report Writer and then remove all of the extra fields so that it's a pure column and row report.

I'll be happy to work with you on this if you don't have FRx. FRx, to me anyway, is still the easiest way to accomplish this.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
