Hi
We are running an on-prem CRM 365, exchange 2010 with server side sync.
There is an issue when trying to track appointments for a newly created user (let’s call him Bob). I cannot find any discrepancies in the permissions between the existing users and Bob.
The problem we are getting is when Bob’s assistant tries to track an appointment in their calendar they encounter an error saying “you can’t track an appointment created by another user”
The organizer and only attendee of said meeting is Bob.
Where things get weird is when the meeting organizer is an external person tracking works as expected. This leads me to believe the error is a lie, as I can in fact track an appointment that was created by another user.
Some forums suggest going back to using the outlook add-in to sync the meetings rather than using server side sync. This is not a solution. It is the temporary work around we have been using. This is causing problems as it requires the laptop to be on, with outlook open and the add-in to be enabled.
bac26 I can confirm all the security roles are correctly set under the management tab. I am not too sure what you mean by the person option. Are you refering to send on behalf permissions within exchange?
Under person options does Bob allow other users to send email on my behalf. There is also security roles to check under the Business Management tab.
Are these all set to allow this?
