Getting more out of Equipment Card.

Posted on by 5

We are a manufacturing company that is just starting to use the equpment card on a regular basis.  There is some data that we have to manually enter and/or run macros within GP to create.  I have been wondering if some of the data can automatically flow into the equipment card from other places within GP.  When we ship a serialized item it will show up in the equipment card and display the ship date, serial number and customer to whom it was shipped.  I would also like for it to automatically populate the warranty period and warranty length.  What I do not know is where the data that already resides in the equipment card comes from or how I go about getting the other data in there without manual intevention.  What I am trying to find out is if what I am trying to do is first and foremost possible.  Let's start there.
