Hello Community,
Does anyone know the difference between the following 2 licenses for D365 Customer Service?
D365 Customer Service Enterprise Trial vs. D365 Customer Service Enterprise vTrial
The "vTrial" doesn't seem to have an expiration date, and it's free, and I am wondering why. Does this mean that without the regular Enterprise Trial license, I can use and login to D365 Customer Service with the "vTrial" license as well?
Hi Leah Ju ,
That's interesting. I actually got the "vTrial" from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center also.
Hi Partner,
There is no Microsoft documentation found that explains the difference between the two licenses.
But in my experience, they differ in three ways:
1)Acquisition method
--Trial: get it from Microsoft 365 admin center > Billing > purchase license
--vTrial: get it from Dynamics 365 free trial webpage.
https://dynamics.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-365-free-trial/
2)Different number of licenses:
One is 25, another is 1000.
3)If you get trial form webpage, one new environment will be created.
As for the functionality, according to my tests, there is no difference.
