Hi,
I have CRM Online 2016 on Production. I have D365 Online on Development environment.
Now, if I do a "Full Copy", CRM 2016 Online to D365 Online, will the Dev remain D365 Online and keep the customization and data from CRM 2016 Online that came from Production?
Please advise.

Hi,
The way we have done it is, we copied production to Sandbox, then schedule upgrade to sandbox.
Ok, great to know!
Because I was planning to move Production to Sandbox but Sandbox is already up to D365 whereas Production is CRM 2016.
Any possible workarounds? The intention is to have customization and data from Production on D365 for testing before I let Production upgrade.
Hi Priyesh,
With copying the instance, the target instance get deleted and replaced with a copy of the data and customizations from the source instance. So the Dev should move back to 2016.
Thanks,
Prateek
It will copy the version as well.
So your DEV will be in CRM 2016.
