Creating 12-month trend on Dynamics 365 storage use

Posted on by 665

I've been requested to do a 12-month CRM Online storage analysis but don't see where I can do this.   Organization Insights has a Storage section but I'm not seeing where to adjust the date range, and even if it did, if like the Org Insights homepage it would only allow for 90 days.

I'm not seeing where the storage analytics is housed in the dashboards customization area to perhaps copy and change the view on which it is based.

Any ideas or assistance would be appreciated!

    Hi,

I don't think there is any standard tool/configuration to perform storage analysis for specific dates. In fact I don't think it is possible to this kind of analysis easily as storage is for your complete system which means you need find the storage of each entity and then a sum of all.

The alternative (to give you some idea about how the storage is consumed) is to count the records getting created for most used entity for a specific date.

    Hope this helps.
