Business Central first time setup Language of Chart of Accounts and General Ledger

Hello,

After first time setup of our Swedish company in Business Central, the entire Chart of Accounts and General Ledger came up in Swedish, while the UI is in English. This is fine, but is there an efficient way to rename or translate the Chart of Accounts and General Ledger to English?

As far as I know, there's no way; you'll have to re-enter the English name.

Hello Iviana,

This is expected. BC doesn’t auto-translate Chart of Accounts.

Best option:

Edit in Excel → bulk rename G/L account names to English → publish back.

UI language ≠ master data language.
