Hi,

We are moving from On-premise to Online. Base currency on our on-premise env is Australian Dollar, while on online env we have changed the base currency to US Dollar.

We are using this tool called Data Transporter to migrate the data from On-premise to Online env (we are using this tool because our main requirement is to retain GUID)

I could migrate currencies without any issues. But when I try to migrate Price Lists, any price list which has currency as Australian Dollar in old environment is getting migrated as US Dollar. Not sure what is causing this. Price lists with other currencies are migrated correctly. I can't change the currency once the price list is created.

Any idea what could be causing this? Or is there any other different way to migrate price lists retaining its GUID?

Well we figured out a way to do it.

1) On the new environment, make Currency field in Price Lists Entity "Optional"

2) Change the default currency in "User Options" to Australian Dollar (this is the base currency in old environment)

3) Migrate AUD Price Lists. While migrating the data, keep currency fields blank (migrate records without currency)

4) Change the currency field behaviour back to "Business Required"

5) Update the currency of the price lists to Australian Dollar in the application

6) Remove the default currency under "User Options"
