New value addition in dimension location

We are using Location as dimension.

We wanted a new value for this dimension, so we added location in Organisation and administration, operating unit- new (location) added the new location and saved.

We run periodic task in system administration in DAta maintenance and run the job for financial dimension.

Still the newly added location value is not visible in financial dimension values.

For example- I have dimension location in my accounting structure. I have values as Jaipur, Dubai, Ahmedabad etc.

Now I want to add one more location Delhi. To add this, I have added Delhi- as location in operating unit tab in organization and administration module.

The location value is visible in organization and administration module. However, when I am going to general ledger dimensions- selected location and dimension values- the newly added Delhi is not visible there.

Any reason.

Hi,

Can you check if you can see the value from the Financial Dimension form? Are there value restrictions configured in the accounting structure? What is the value of the field Use values from for this financial dimension?

Hello,

Which kind of organization unit is it? Because from your financial dimension, you need to see the same type to create automatically the value when you create a financial dimension:

Financial dimension setup

The alternative why you cannot see the financial dimension is because the value are set on the account structure as well (rare).
