D365 portal - entity list through liquid

Hi,

I have an issue with the entity list displayed on a web page, the entity list is displayed based on a condition using liquid tags as below in my custom web template. I have entity permissions setup, but the below list is showing all the records.

{% type=='xyz' %}

{% include "entity_list" key: "<entitylistname1>" %}

{% else %}

{% include "entity_list" key: "<entitylistname2>" %}

{% endif %}

but if I change the web page properties to set the entity list directly, then change the web template to full page with no child links or edit my custom web template to include entity list based on id, it works as expected.

The entity list is to show a custom entity which has relationship to account of the logged in user.

So my entity permissions are, self scope on contact, account level scope on account, then parent/account(tried both) scope to the account entity permission/relationship.

Any idea why the first way of web template is not working as expected.

Thanks

    Hi partner,

    If this is your complete code, you missed something in your code, you need add "if" at the start position.

    {% if type=='xyz' %}

    {% include "entity_list" key: "<entitylistname1>" %}

    {% else %}

    {% include "entity_list" key: "<entitylistname2>" %}

    {% endif %}

    BTW, could you share us what's the filter condition for views in entitylist1 and entitylist2?

    Best Regards,

    Leo
