Hi guys,
I'm creating a new Role from AOT and then adding a custom privileges into this new role (without Duty).
Custom Role:
Custom Privileges (contain few existing menu items) :
Question is why that custom privilege does not appear in Security Configuration :
Thanks,
Hi Lars volt,
Does the privilege list under the Privilege tab on the security configuration form?
On the top you will be having 4 tabs which includes Roles, Duties, Privileges, UnPublished objects.
Select Privileges tab and search for your custom privilege.
Girish S.
Hi Girish,
Yeah, it's turns out I can't find it. But I have Build and Synchronize couple of time. Any clue what is going on ?
I am not sure. Do one thing just delete them and recreate again.
Don't use the same name as that of deleted privilege - Use different name and check.
Hi Lars,
Does your custom model have references to all standard models from which the menu items were linked?
Can you indicate if the build was done on the level of model, solution, or project? Was the build successful or are there errors? Was the DB sync also successful?
If this is all OK, have you use the Repair button to recreate runtime tables? Security configuration - What is the 'Repair' button? - Dynamicspedia
Hi Andre,
The reference is all linked and I've build in model level, synchronized with no error. However, it looks "Repair" solve my issue. Many thanks as I don't know we have this kind of tool. It is great also by looking at the blog, since it will detect missing object.
Thanks again.
