We are looking to incorporate a statistical ledger in Solomon to automatically calculate allocations and to use the statistical data for reporting purposes. Does anyone have experience with this that they can share with us? Best practices, gotchas, disappointments.

Yes, you can set up statistical ledgers in GL, using the Ledger Maintenance screen. You can report on them and compare them with actual GL data using the FRx module. The only gotcha is that it is sort of tricky to do the calculations in FRx.
