    Hi Sandeep

The Quick View form you are using is for the Customer field in the Case form, not for the Contact field.

So try changing the value for the Customer field (select a contact record) and check whether you are obtaining the Role value in QV form.

If you are trying to see the role field from the contact entity on the Case form, then here is what you need to do:

    1) Create a Quick View Form for the contact entity and add the role field to it.

    2) Add the Contact Quick View form to the Case entity form.

The link I sent you above explains in detail how to do 1 and 2.

    Hi,

If I understand your question correct, the answer is: Account and Contacts are two different entities. If you want a Quick view form for the contact entity, you need to create that as it is different from the quick view form of the account entity.

    Hope this helps!

Just to add, here is how you can add a quick view form to an entity form:

    1) In an entity main form, choose Quick View Form in the Control group of the Insert tab.

    2) In the Quick View Control Properties dialog box, set the properties described in Quick view control properties.

    3) Choose OK to close the Quick View Control Properties dialog box.

    Hi,

You cannot add a field from a parent entity (contact) to the form of a child entity (Case). You can add a lookup or you can add the quick view form itself to the child entity (Case).

    Hope this helps!
