automatic generation of customer account for sub project

How can we configure the customer account to be automatically generated for sub-projects when we create an Item requirement?

    Hi Asma,
     
    Customer accounts cannot be fixed in D365.  Further I have searched and come onto a conclusion that there is no option to fix customer accounts on projects.

    Dear Andre, 

    Thank you for your reply and I completely agree with your reasoning.
     
    I'll explain my need if you don't mind, 
     
    I'd like to create a parent project (type: internal) and add a fictitious customer account to it, and every time I create a new sub-project ( by creating a new Work order from AM module), I'd like the customer account to be inherited automatically, to avoid that every time I create an Item requirement from the Work order screen, I get a message that I have to add a customer account to the sub project.
     
    Is this available as a standard feature?

    Hi Asma,
     
    There is no feature in Dynamics 365 that will automatically create a new customer. How would the application know about the name, address, contact details, financial dimensions and more? You first need to create the customer, then you can link it to a (sub)project.
