Extension Deployment in Production Environment

Hi Everyone,

I have created new extension in sandbox environment & I deployed these extensions in production environment.

At the time of deployment, it asked for permission set.So i defined permission file (Permission.xml). And then was able to deploy the same in production environment.

Need to know that, do we need any kind of permission from Microsoft(apart from Permission.xml) to deploy extensions in Production environment.

    When you deploy an extension in a production environment, you need to create a file with permission sets for the objects that your extension contains.

    No, you don't need any kind of other permissions from Microsoft.

    Yes, we only create Permission set for objects & No, permission is required from Microsoft.

    @Mohana.... I heard that, apart from creating permission set for objects. we need permission from Microsoft to deploy extension in Production environment.And which is actually wrong.
