Move Out of the box Form Buttons that are not visible

Posted on by 169

I am trying to move some buttons.  Specifically I am looking at the Knowledge Articles but my question is not specific to this.

I open Ribbon Workbench, I am looking at the out of the box form buttons.

Some of them are visible, but most are not.

How do I move buttons I cannot even see.

So confused.

They must be turned on somehow, but no idea where to start looking.

I am not talking custom buttons, just the out of the box buttons.

Help please

When you edit the buttons, there is a number value related to the order the buttons show up.  You can re-order them there.  If this was about displaying them as well, the Prakash is correct.

    Hi,

If you are referring to buttons like advanced find etc.. those button will be available in application ribbon, are not specific to entities. Create any custom or open existing solution navigate client extension add existing item as application ribbon. Open that solution in ribbon workbench. You will be able to see those buttons.

If it is specific to entities those are available in ribbon workbench and not in form. It is because of enable and display rule. Check the condition or else disable that steps to see those buttons.

FYI, more than one enable and display rule will be available for a button. Before modifying take a snapshot of it.

    Regards,

    Prakash
