I was in the process of upgrading from Management Reporter 2012 RU5 (2.1.1037.15) to Management Reporter 2012 CU16 when I received multiple errors during the database upgrade process. I would like to revert everything back to the original pre-upgrade state. I am looking for some guidance on the steps required to get back to my original starting point. I am new to Management Reporter and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. The following are my initial assumptions on how to get back to my original starting point:
1) Remove the following using the Management Reporter Configuration Console:
Management Reporter 2012 Application Service
Management Reporter 2012 Process Service
2) Uninstall the following from the Control Panel
Microsoft Dynamics ERP Management Reporter 2012 Client
Microsoft Dynamics ERP Management Reporter 2012 Server
3) It does not look like we have any ERP Integrations/companies to delete
4) Restore the Management Reporter 2012 RU5 database
5) Install the Management Reporter 2012 RU5 Server and Client software
Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
