Application Server Security Violation

Posted on by 940

I print previewed a report to and then submitted and scheduled request (weekly ) to app server.  The request produces a security violation in App Server.  Since I was able to preview the report, how can it produce a security violation?

Here is the app server request log detail:

    Good morning Steve,

I'm thinking this is just a duplicate of the support case that was opened for this issue, where you were able to pin the issue down to a trigger on the asrreqedd table.

I believe I have this nailed down to Scheduled App Server Request.  If I submit a request a report request to app server without scheduling, it runs through fine.  If I submit the same request as scheduled, app server does not process it and sets the status to "Security".

Anyone else having this same issue in SL2011?  Suggesting for resolving?  My search of customer source for know issues came up empty.

FYI:  This is for SL2011.   I also noticed that after submitting a request and closing the app server request dialog box, the user is prompted with "Do you want to save your changes?"  What is the purpose of that dialog box?
