Portals - Contacts with access to multiple Accounts

Posted on by 719

In Portals is there a way to give a Contact access to multiple accounts? I understand that in Dynamics 365 you can use Connections to establish relationships and roles between contacts and multiple accounts, but is there a way for this to be reflected in the Portal using out of the box configuration? The scenario is that when a portal user logs in they can select which Account they want to perform actions on, for example update Account details or view related records to that Account.

    Hi,

Yes, you can do that, You can setup n:n relationship between account and contact, or can use the existing n:n relation ship between contact and account (Partner Seller one), further you can configure web roles using that your current portal user will be able to access all of the account he is associated with.

Let me know if you need more help on setting it.
