Alert option for all employees in Dynamics 365 for Human resource

Hello,

Is there a possibility to create an alert for all the employees whenever there is an event happens in the instance.
Currently I am only able to do it for one employee using create alert option.

Eg:- If in the identification types; entry is added or edited by any employee; then the alert should go to the HR/Admin for such employees in the system.

Hi Akanksha,

An alert is in fact a personalization. If the HR/Admin should be notified of any change in the identification types, they should setup the alert. I wouldn't recommend to alert all employees.

If you need to send an alert to multiple persons, you can setup the alert per user.

Hi Akansha,

This is actually working as designed. Alerts for identification types areas of HR won't notify you if a records outside of the current worker context is updated, created or edited. This is because there is no unrestricted view of that data. If you want to get notification, you can use Power Automate to get the notification across all employees. Entities exist in CDS for Worker. There are only a few areas in HR where you can get alerts across all employees - Areas like Certificates where a form exists to display all records across all employees.
