So I am new to Dynamics and was trying to research stuck batch jobs. I ran across the article in the subject line which has a "MIcrosoft FixIt" option. When I talked to our support group about this they said that previous versions of that page mentioned numerous warnings about what was needed to be done before running the "FixIt", such as having all users log out of Dynamics GP and backing up your system prior to running the FixIt. Those I would think you would do even if you KNEW it worked every time w/o problems.
He also stated that the "FixIt" Solution, "will remove all users and their batches from the system. It does not warn you
that this will happen." He goes on to mention that check links will have to be run as well.
What I would like to know is: Are these still issues with this automated fix? The support page does not mention revisions or version changes...
