one of my user tried to print report (customized invoice) from service manager module of GP 10.0 and get the following error message. I check the .net configuration (it used version 3.5 on both client PC and terminal server) and user have access right to the target report.

exception_class_object_exception
exceptionsubclass:-2146233079

Unhandled object exception:
The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized

Any idea what may cause the issue above.

This is usually caused by the file MSXML3.dll not being registered correctly

on the Windows system side.

To resolve the issue do the following:

1. Exit Dynamics GP

2. Click 'Start', click 'Run', type ‘cmd’ and click OK. This should open the

command prompt window.

3. At the command prompt, type the following and press enter:

regsvr32 MSXML3.dll

4. Start and login to Dynamics GP to see if the message still occurs.

Did you ever figure out what was causing this?

I'm having a very similar issue and getting a similar error message.
