Timecard with Rate/Amount Entry - days disabled

We are working on a test upgrade from SL2011 to 2018SP3 and having some issues with the Timecard with Rate/Amount Entry screen. Under 2018, the days of the week are coming up as disabled. At first we thought it was an issue with a customized screen, but the same happens both when customized and in standard mode.

Is there a newer setup or trigger that activates the fields. We've tested the following:

1) On the same screen, leaving the day range at zero or entering 5, 6 and 7. The fields remained disabled:

2) Under Time Card Setup, confirmed expense reporting > 7 days is unmarked

3) By default individual projects have no end date and validation is off. Tried adding an end date with no effect.

Is there a trick or trigger to make the days of the week available for entry? Please advise. Look forward to a response.

Dear JG,

There is a known issue in Cu3 where if the "Disable days not in timecard period" setting is NOT checked in Time and Expense Setup, then the Time Entry screens become disabled in the grid like you have described.

As a workaround check that setting in Time and Expense setup, General Options tab.
