GP/CRM Connector - Invoices Only with Write-In Products

I know this is a general forum, but didn't see a way to post to the connector forum.

I am using the GP to CRM Connector and I have Accounts, picklists, addresses syncing between the systems. I am in need of syncing Invoices from GP to CRM (but only invoices, not orders or products). I have been able to get the invoices to start to work without an order in CRM. However, now the invoice processes, it gets stuck on the Invoice/All Invoice Details/Invoice Product/Dynamics Integration Key. It is saying it can't find the product. If the GP product is non-inventory, shouldn't that come into CRM as a write-in product? Is there a way to get write-in products on invoices in CRM from GP?

So after much testing, I was able to figure out what was being executed at the database level of both GP and CRM. I was able to resolve this by editing a view. Now we have other concerns as updating the GP record from Open to Work to Hist doesn't affect the CRM record. If you would need assistance in knowing which view to edit in GP, please see opalbiz.com.
