Tax jurisdiction "Print Description" field not available - how to label tax breakdown on invoice?

Hi

Here in Quebec, Canada, most businesses will collect two different taxes, when invoicing their customer : The provincial sales tax (TVQ / QST) and the Federal canadian tax (TPS / GST). I'm assuming it's the same in many locations in North America.

On the invoice, both tax appear correctly with the breakdown, but there is no description in front of the amounts.

In Dynamics NAV, you would enter that label in the "Print Description" field of the Tax Jurisdiction table.

But on the Tax Jurisdiction page of Dynamics 365 Financial, there is no such column available.

This is, by law, mandatory information to display on an invoice.

Anybody found a workaround?

Thanks!

    Thank you for the questions.

I just deployed a Canada tenant for Dynamics 365 for Financials. I tested by printing the first saved (unposted) invoice in the CRONUS Canada, Inc. company, and it does split the tax and label each:

Then I changed the layout from Word to the Blue version of the Custom Layout, as this seems closer to what you are printing:

And I pulled up the same invoice and again chose Print Draft Invoice. The blue version of the invoice looks good too:

I reprinted a posted invoice and it was showing the tax breakdown as well.
