On Contact form, we have date fields to auto-update the last contacted date. That is,
Last Phone: Date field autopopulated based on last phone call activity
Last Email: Date field autopopulated based on last email activity
Last Fax: Date field autopopulated based on last fax activity
So far so good.
Further what we need to indicate is whether this was an outgoing or an incoming activity. Lets call it direction of the activity. We do not want to introduce new fields along these ones, we are hoping that we can create some visual to indicate the direction on existing date fields.
Can you guys suggest some good ways to do this? One of the option we know is to create custom controls to show these dates, so that the date shows in green for incoming and blue for outgoing.
What do you guys advise?
