Unable to uninstall VOC

Hello,

Unable to uninstall VOC due to the following error (The error appears in both solutions) –

This solution cannot be uninstalled because the 'LocalizedLabel' with id '257ca460-4e08-16e9-d840-55e3b47d5d2a & 662b8217-2981-e911-a822-000d3a47cf7b(Form)' is required by the 'VoiceOfTheCustomer' solution. Uninstall the VoiceOfTheCustomer solution and try again.

Anyone can help?

    Hi,

    We assume there is multi-language CRM having labels present in entity, which is related to entity that you are trying to uninstall i.e. delete from CRM. You can verify both entity by exporting solution and check if any form label or field label present in that related to VOC.

    Hi alexyou,

    If you met the issue in CRM OP environment pls refer to Priyesh to do sql update in server.

    While if you met the issue in Online environment which belongs to a known issue 'Apply Solution Upgrade throws Error like "This solution cannot be uninstalled because the 'LocalizedLabel' with id 'XX & YY(Form)' is required by...' which may be caused from following reasons:

    1. system solutions sitting on top of custom solutions, for labels brought in by custom solutions
    2. Localized labels shared between forms from different publishers
    3. Solution layering is not correct for the label, the correct owner of the label was not the base solution
    4. In the localizedLabel table the layer for solution upgrade was the top most layer having component state as deleted even tough the solution upgrade was not deleting the label
    5. By design – internal solution teams added some component in the form which other solutions take dependency on and say change the label – this is a valid scenario – but when base solution tries to delete this label in future upgrades we get the localized label error – our guidance is that solution teams should not be removing these.

    You need to rasie service request in Admin Center to ask DEV team run migration sql 'DeleteLocalizedLabelWithSystemSolutionsonTop.sql' update for you organization.
