Fixed Asset Import - Macro

Hi there, I am fairly new to GP and currently have over 100 fixed assets that I need to upload (this will be my first time going through the fixed asset process). I have put all assets in the required format to import and saved as a .txt file prior to uploading. When I enter the import tool it is requesting a macro. What is this? How can it be created or are there templates that can be used across multiple organizations?

On the opposite end, is there a way to mass upload disposals for the year? I am familiar with how to individually retire each asset by entering the asset ID, but again I have over 100 and this will be extremely time consuming.
