Ribbon button JS library missing CRM 2016

Hi, 

I am using CRM 2016 on-prem, I have used ribbon workbench to customize ribbon on lead entity. 

I added custom button and call custom js file. leadribbon js file. 

Steps: 

  • I added JS file on form load, able to see JS file load successfully in browser (worked in IE & Chrome)

  • Configure javascript on ribbon button using ribbon workbench too

  • publish ribbon & complete solution 
  • javascript is missing on form load & on button click no javascript or error I face

do you see am I missing anything? Am I using correct ribbon workbench version?

    Yes, My issue is resolved. I deployed using CRM Development Toolkit (directly from VS 2015), I guess due to that its not deploying properly.

    I re-create Web Resource (JS file) manually from CRM and add javascript.

    It resolve my issue.

    Try to put a "debugger;" line on your javascript to set an automatic breakpoint.

    I have some troubles to find my javascript sometimes and I do this, it's effective !

    Hi,

    I had similar issue using Ribbon Workbench. Try using Visual Ribbon Editor ( I find this tool more controlled and easy to use )

    Hi Dhaval,

    Can you try clearing browser cache and reload the form again? I have faced caching issues many times.

    Also, can you post the screenshot from ribbon workbench with the location of the button you have added?
