TwoWay Communication with Azure Service Bus in Dynamics 365 (Online)

Hi Techies

We are planning to use twoway communication with Azure service bus from inside our plugin. But now as ACS is deprecated can we say that this facility is no more there with CRM?

I have gone through many articles and SDK Examples and none of them are working as the Plugin registration tool itself has now no option to configure ACS. Even If I configure ACS using PowerShell still no use as I'm getting some or the other errors related to authentication/configuration.

Can any on share their experiences? that helps a lot and ends my sleepless nights :)

    Hi Gopalan

    Yes, we are going through the same article, but there is lot of change in the Dynamics 365 plugin registration tool and the tool that is mentioned in the article. There is no button called configure ACS in the new plugin registration tool.

    Hi PS

    We have tried it and succeeded as well to send the message to bus and the Receiver as well getting the context properly. The problem is coming when the receiver end application try to return value. That part is not clear in any of the articles with SAS, based upon my understanding/reading, SAS is only for one way communication.

    No, the facility still exist and you can integrate CRM with ASB.

    Its the authentication mechanism that has been changed from ACS. You need to use SAS now along with the 8.1 plugin registration tool.

    What kind of error you are getting?

    My experience was with ACS with UI, I used two way communication.

    I checked with SDK, you can see the two way listener example.
