Leslie is right, one of the users selected the set as default view.

for those like me, who have no idea what they are doing, this is the query.

    select * from DYNAMICS..ASIEXP99

    begin transaction

delete from DYNAMICS..ASIEXP99 where USERID = 'PETER'

    commit transaction

    Hi,

I know this is an ancient post, but I noticed it didn't have an answer.  The answer is to delete your record from the DYNAMICS..ASIEXP99 table.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

My sort defaulting is "All Items Number". I've try uninstalled the GP, delete and recreate the user ID but it's still the same. It happened after I click the "Set as default view" in item lookup windows.

What is your sort defaulting to?  You can download the FREE app called SmartSort and default the sorting order to anything you want.  It's from Ethotech and is a solid application.

    Kind regards,

I've set it back to the first selection, but my problem is when I key in the item no. in the item field and click the lookup, it go to the first item no. instead of point to the item no. that i key in.

Just set it back to the first selection. For Instance, the customer lookup list would be set to All Customers. To access this information open the view window.
