Woodford: change behavior of "Mark Complete" button for Work Order Service Tasks

In Field Service Mobile when a User does a long press at the Work Order Service Task subgrid on the Work Order form or the Work Order Incident form, a new Button on top of the subgrid "Mark Complete" appears. 

We want to configure that button so that after the User has marked records and pressed this button, not only the Percentage Completed gets updated but also a new field gets filled. 

But how can we configure the additional step to be executed by the button?

It seems like the command behind the button is called "custom_MarkComplete". But how can we customize it?

    Hi Moko,

    The button is using offline HTML as most likely built by Microsoft, you have two options:

    1. Amend the JavaScript yourself to add these changes

    2. Disable the button and create it yourself from scratch (either from form rules or create your own JavaScirpt)

    Hi Thomas, thanks for your helpful answers.

    Going with option 2:

    - I was able to create a new custom button by using on can execute and on execute, the button appears on the form (WO Service Task) now. But how am I able to bring this new button on top of the WO Service Tasks subgrid, so that it appears after I made this long press?

    - How could I configure that the original button on top of the subgrid disappears? Or do I already need to do that by editing the offline html?

    There is an offline html file in the ServiceTask folder called WOSTList.js

    This shows the command for the list. The iframe is connected to the main view of the Work Order Service Task. If you go to the view and press the iFrame button you will see the code related there.

    I haven't personally done this myself, but just observe what Microsoft have done and copy it for yourself :)
