Human Resources Module Business Portal Requisitions

Human Resources Module in business portal comes with Requisitions. The tables for requisitions are in the dynamics db, not in the company dbs. I have a requirement to be able to update fields in requisitions from a workflow in SharePoint. But the dynamics db does not have the sprocs related to getting policies. Is it even possible to extend the web services to do updates against the dynamics db?

For further information, I am able to extend web services to use econnect to get the requisition data. I can doa GetByKey and a GetList, but update has me stumped.
