Custom VB App crash from local client SL2015

I have some custom apps developed with VBTools few years ago. We are currently running SL2011SP1 and all is well. Recently I am testing the upgrade to SL2015 in a separate environment, which I install .net framework 4.5 and convert\recompile these custom apps using vs2013. Everything seems to work on the server until I test with client machine. On the client machine, I can launch the SL screens without any problems; however, all of the custom apps fail to launch and I saw the error under windows log indicating faulting module kernelbase.dll (event id=1000) followed by .net runtime error (event id=1026). I am not sure how to trouble shoot this problem since I don't have any problems running locally with full version of SL installed. Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi Wang,

This doesn't seem to be .Net Framework issue. This error might be due to some important system dlls missing in your computer. Please go through the below Article and try these repair tools to fix the issue
