How to Export and Import Container Data Types in BatchJob and Batch Tables using DMF?

I am using the DMF (Data Management Framework) in D365FO to export and import data from the BatchJob and Batch tables. However, I am facing issues exporting and importing the Recurrence data from the BatchJob table and the Parameters data from the Batch table, as both are stored in the Container data type. Is there any effective way to handle the export and import of these Container-type fields? Any advice would be appreciated.

Container fields are normally ignored by DMF, but there is a support for them in the framework - it's capable of exporting (and importing) the data of container fields to separate files.

The key piece of information is that the staging table must implement getFieldsToBeConvertedToFile() method. With this knowledge, you can find examples in the standard application (e.g. in WHSShipConsolidationPolicyV2Staging).

There is a also a good blog post you should read: Import/Export Container Data Fields Using D365FO Data Management.

Another potential solution is converting the data to another format, e.g. using a string field with Base64-encoded data.

    Thank you for your response.
I tried implementing using the sample you provided, but I encountered the following error:
"Wrong argument type for function. - (S)\Classes\BinData\setData"
    Error exporting the bitmap data

I'm sorry, but we can't find a bug in code that you've never even described. It's not sufficient to knowing that you've implemented something and now you're getting an error somewhere. Please share your code and the stack trace of the exception.
