Schema name is not unique issue

Posted on by 135

Hi Expert,

I have had a local option set named ccd_equipmenttype. I deleted it successfully, and want to create a same name global option set. When I saved it, the error happened: The schema name ccd_equipmenttype for type OptionSet is not unique.... same name already exists.

How to totally delete the local optionset from system and I can create an global one? Please give me advice. Thanks.

    Hi,

    1. When you delete the Local option set Publish the Customization.

    2. After Publishing the Customization, check is there already global option set present in the system or not "ccd_equipmenttype" .

    Thanks,
    Manoj.

Go to Customizations > Option Sets.

Check if a global optionset already exists. If so you can use the same to add more options into it or delete if needed.
