batch attribute Inheritance with Formula ingredient substitutes

I'm using Formula material substitution (Plan Group and Priority) and at the same time I want to use Batch attribute inheritance

Formula for Item A

Ingredients 1

Ingredient 2

Ingredient 2 is substitute to 1

batch attributes for Item A , Ingredient 1 and Ingredient 2 are same and I activated Inherit batch attribute to end Item on Both ingredients

but in batch attribute selection, I was able only to select the attributes for ingredient 1 as the system doesn't allow marking the same attributes for more than one ingredient line.

I thought that due to using plan group and substitution functionality on formula line, if i post my pick list with ingredient 2, the system will pull the attributes from ingredient 2. but that didnt happen.

Is there a setup that I'm missing to make the system switch inheritance to ingredient 2 if it was used
