Where to post complaints

Hello everyone

I'm very new to Microsoft Dynamics. Right now I'm working as an intermediary for a Belgian company. I was wondering if there was a way to create links between items and contacts. For example if a complaint came in about product A from Contact B, can I link to contact B in the notes of product A? If so, where can I see this and how do I keep it all clear and accessible?
