How to remove access to a user for to "multiple records" using Manage access in the Share

Posted on by
Hi Team,

I had to temporarily share access to a user(A) for multiple accounts during the absence of another user(B).

I was able to do this easily by selecting the multiple accounts and then using the 'Manage access' to share the read and right access to user A with ownership still under user B.

Now that user B is back to work, how can I remove the read and write access to multiple records for user A? I do not get this option when I select the same set of accounts and use 'Manage Access'. But I am able to remove the access by doing them one by one.

Is there anyway I can do it all at once?

Thank you
D

    Hi Partner,
'Manage Access'?Is that the one below?
Indeed, as you mentioned, after selecting multiple records, there is no way to UNSHARE the records together, only a single record can be manipulated。
This is a setup we are powerless to change because it is at the design level.
However, we can use workflow to unshare multiple records at a once.
--using Demian Raschkovan's Dynamics 365 Workflow Tools, which provide one action to unshare records:
--Download and import it as solution, then create one on-demand workflow to use this action.
Also, you can use power automate to achieve same:

hope you can mark my answer verified if it is helpful! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
